Student Business Support Fund (SBSF)

Student Business Support Fund (SBSF) is a project that facilitates enterprise development amongst students in Nigeria. With SBSF, STUN Africa identifies talented student entrepreneurs, provides them with funds and embeds them into a community of other entrepreneurs and mentors that give them the support they need to grow and achieve success in their various ventures.

In the last decade, fifty percent of companies that have changed the terrain of technology were conceived in dorm rooms. Higher institutions are a fertile ground for generation of ideas and arguably the best places to find top talent to create innovations. We have decided to create a fund to identify these top entrepreneurial talents, provide them with resources and capital and create an environment that would accelerate them into globally relevant entrepreneurs.

  • The recipients and beneficiaries of this fund are limited only to students of any tertiary institution in Nigerian.
  • A seed fund with a maximum amount of one hundred thousand naira will be given to student entrepreneurs as initial capital from SBSF.
  • The student entrepreneur is expected to return the capital with an ROI within a period of one year of collecting the capital.
  • The minimum return on investment (ROI) is 30% per annum.
